This project comprises a multidisciplinary team drawn from various schools in SUSS. The project focuses on a social phenomenon, i.e. transracial adoptions, which has become extremely rare in contemporary Singapore. Nevertheless, the life stories of these adoptees, their families and friends, can inform and layer our understanding of how identity (national, racial, social etc.) has evolved in Singapore.
